REMINDER: COMMUNITY PROJECTS FUND NOW OPEN FOR NEW APPLICATIONS
Do you have a big idea that could help improve life in Alyth? We’ve re-opened our Community Projects Fund (CPF) for applications for funding up to £2,000 and the deadline is 21 March. Find out more and connect to the application form here. Under our agreement with Temporis Ltd, who operate the windfarm just northeast of Alyth, we distribute the community benefit funds they are donating to Alyth, and a big chunk of that is allocated direct to individuals and organisations in our community through the ACPF. Applications are assessed and awarded by an independent Community Panel in accordance with ADT’s aims and objectives. If you have a big idea but need funding to turn it into a reality, don’t delay and get your application in today!
Possible business opportunities from new SSEN sub-station

SSEN Transmission will shortly be beginning construction works on the new 275/400kV Alyth substation project. As part of this project, they are welcoming local businesses to attend an informal Microsoft Teams meeting to engage with their Principal Contractor to exchange details to further discuss outwith this introduction the possible business opportunities for the local supply chain that may be available.
The Meet the Buyer event will be taking place as follows:

This project has the potential to create local business opportunities in the following fields; accommodation, security, catering, cleaning services, aggregate services, local labour services, road gritting, building and wholesaler merchants and others
