Alyth Town Hall
Alyth’s historic Town Hall received a new look for its rear hallway and toilet thanks to a £2,000 grant from our Community Projects Fund. Club members used the grant to buy hi-tech computer and projection equipment to show off their work to national standards. As well as enabling members to compete in national competitions, the Club uses the new gear when they are asked to give presentations and displays to other groups in and around Alyth.

The new lightweight camping equipment is used by every section – Beavers, Cubs Scouts and Explorer Scouts – and enables the Group to provide outdoor adventure for the entire group.
Alyth Allotments
ADT awarded a £2000 grant to Alyth Allotments to fund a new access gate for better security; instal a waste skip for unwanted debris (broken glass/timber/metal/etc); create a slabbed seating area with picnic benches, and buy a petrol mower and strimmer for shared use.
Alyth Primary School Parent School Association
ADT funded the purchase of a school sound system plus iPad-compatible microphones and clip-on microphones by the Parent School Association to help them run better, more effective school events. By enlisting the children in operating the equipment, the project will also teach them valuable IT skills.
